What began as a fascination with shiny rocks and a love for the vastly shaped landscape of Southern Alberta has grown into a full-time pursuit of sharing our region's most unique treasures.

We understand the historic and Indigenous significance of ammolite, so we set out to ensure that all ammolite that we offer has been ethically and legally collected. We work in accordance with the laws of Alberta, so we assure that every piece of ammolite that we collect is submitted to the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Here, the ammolite is professionally analyzed by their team of paleontologists before they grant us a disposition number, giving us permission to process the ammolite.

We understand the importance of preserving not just the gem but the landscape. Because of this, we choose to surface collect the majority of our ammolite rather than open-pit mine. Through this method, we are able to preserve both the landscape and the already exposed ammolite which is at a high risk of further deterioration and oxidation.

All of our Ammolite is processed start to finish in our shop, and our silver is shaped uniquely for each piece. We take pride in the quality of our work and offer a 2 year warrantee guarantee for everything available on the website.
