Who are we?
Coulee Gems is a small Canadian-owned artisan business based in Lethbridge, Alberta, specializing in the preservation and craftsmanship of ammolite. Through our work, we hope to share both the beauty and deep historical roots of this remarkable gemstone with more people around the world.
OUR CRAFT
From an ancient seabed to your hands
We surface-collect ammonite shells from the Bearpaw Formation, then hand-finish each stone and individually craft its sterling silver setting in our Lethbridge, Alberta studio, one piece at a time.
Featured Jewelry
Handcrafted sterling silver jewelry, individually created around the unique character of each ammolite gemstone. Every piece is made with genuine 925 sterling silver to highlight the stone's natural colour, pattern, and iridescence — making each one truly one of a kind.
Most of our sterling silver pieces can also be gold plated at no extra charge. Just contact us if you'd like this option.
